See all previous conversation history with a contact
A very helpful feature in Front is the ability to see all conversation history with a certain contact. This is helpful if you want to check whether a customer messaged you multiple times and another teammate has already worked on it, or to check for context from a previous conversation.
The history will show you all the conversations you have access to with this contact, so it will not show conversations that live in other people's private inboxes or shared inboxes that you are not part of. It will also show conversations across all channels; such as email, Twitter, Facebook, SMS.
There are two ways to see conversation history with a contact.
From the conversation
Click on the sender name and select Contact history to see all previous conversations you (or someone on your team) had with this contact.
From the plugin pane
Click the expand plugin icon.
Use the dropdown to select the Contact details plugin. You will find the the history of messages in the Conversations tab below the contact information.
