Windows Desktop Notification Duration
Overview
Windows has some neat settings that can help the notifications that Front puts out to hang around for a bit longer, or shorter, based on your preferences. This will be performed on the Windows computer itself, so teammates can tailor their own experience. This is specifically for Windows for the Front desktop app.
Instructions
Sticking Within the Action Center
Step 1
Open the Windows Start Menu
Step 2
Select the Settings cogwheel
Step 3
Select System section
Step 4
Select Notifications & Actions
Step 5
Navigate to Front and Click it (not the toggle, but the actual entry on the list)
Step 6
Enable Notifications
Step 7
Enable Show notification banners
Step 8
Enable Show notifications in action center
These toggles here will help make sure that notifications appear from the desktop app, that they show a little popup for the notification, and also finally that they will be in the notification section in the action center so they can see that notification by clicking on the speech bubble in the very bottom right of the taskbar at the bottom of windows.
