Conversation ID, message ID, and permalinks
Every conversation in Front has a unique conversation ID and link to help you track and access your conversations quickly. Each individual message within the conversation also has its own unique message ID and message permalink. Below is more information about each item:
Conversation ID: This is an alphanumeric identifier that can be used to locate a conversation. When writing into our support team, please send the conversation ID for investigation.
Conversation link: This is a URL that allows you to open a conversation directly. You can also use the conversation link internally to direct teammates to a specific conversation or keep a record for yourself by posting it in a comment.
Message ID: This is the alphanumeric identifier unique to a specific message within a thread.
Message permalink: This is the URL that will link you directly to the specific message in a thread.
If you are looking to contact support about an issue you have with a conversation or message, see this article on what information we need to help.
