Logging emails into Salesforce using auto BCC


You can automatically log your emails to your Salesforce account using the auto BCC feature in Front.

Step 1

Log in to Salesforce.

Step 2

Find your username in the top right corner, and select My Settings from the dropdown.

Step 3

Select Email underneath My Settings.

Step 4

Select My Email to Salesforce.

Step 5

Click Save.

Step 6

Go to your Front Settings and select My inboxes.

Step 7

Click the inbox you want to log emails from.

Step 8

Scroll down to Auto BCC, and paste the address you have saved.Step 9

Click Save.

  • Cori Morris  How can I apply the same BCC to Salesforce functionality to group inboxes? This seems like it's only for personal inboxes.  Or is that in sequences?

    You can utilize auto-BCC for team inboxes the same way you do for individual inboxes, but it won't recognize which teammate is sending the email. It will log as one person. There's currently no workaround that would accomplish this.

  • Cori Morris  thanks! just realized that I wasn't in settings for the group email (was in my personal settings). Be good to add mention of that into the directions.
