Understanding channels

Front isn't just for email. It allows you to manage all external communication in one place, whether it's via web chats, SMS messages, Facebook Messenger, email, and more. 

One inbox can hold multiple channels. For instance, you can consolidate all social media channels (Facebook Messenger and Twitter) into one inbox. You may also move a channel from one inbox to another.
