How to change the display name next to the email address (signature sender info)
Overview
The name that appears next to the email address is called the Sender info and it can be changed in your signature settings. The only case where the display name is not customizable is for Office 365 sync channels, as they do not support setting a different name and can only use the default account name.
Instructions
Step 1
To update your signature, go into your Settings, and select Signatures. You can update your Sender info in a current signature by clicking on it, or create a new one by clicking Add a signature.
Step 2
Type your name in the Sender info section.
This is how a name and email address appear when the Sender info is empty:
sales@example.com <sales@example.com>
This is how a name and email address appear when the Sender info is "Bruce Wayne":
Bruce Wayne <sales@example.com>
Note: Sender info is currently not supported with auto-reply rules. Unless the recipient has a contact record for your email address, they will just see what would be sent in the From email header i.e. sales@example.com using the same example above.
For Office365 accounts
Microsoft enforces the use of any inbox's set name when sending outbound messages, so the display name set in Office365 will override any Front signatures with the Sender info set up.
